Caffeine is simple and user friendly application developed, as its name perfectly suggests, to keep your computer awake. This application comes in handy when your computer is locking or going to sleep, preventing this by simulating a keypress once every 59 seconds, so your computer thinks you're still working at the keyboard and won't lock the screen or activate the screensaver.



Double-clicking the icon of the application empties the coffee pot and temporarily disables the program. Double-clicking it again refills the pot, and will keep your machine awake.
